Key West Art Galleries

Visiting the local Key West art galleries is a definite must on any trip to Key West. With a significant number of artists and a wide diversity of artistic mediums, touring the numerous Key West art galleries will prove to be an experience you will not soon forget!

A number of Key West art galleries feature the artwork of nationally renowned artists, such as the Pulitzer Prize winner Jeff MacNelly, natural history illustrator John James Audubon, photographer Alan S. Maltz and so many more! While a number of the art galleries are located on Duval Street there are several other local Key West art galleries that are hidden away off the beaten path.

Every month, the original works of both local and nationally known artists are featured at the Fleming Street Gallery. Open from 10am-6pm daily, you can peruse through handiwork such as the black and white photography of Tom Corcoran, the oils and encaustics of Priscilla Serven or the works of the noted watercolorist, Jim Johnson to name just a few.

Alan S. Maltz Gallery-1210 Duval Street, Key West, FL 33040
Housing the fine art photography of the famed Alan S. Maltz the gallery features limited edition prints, private collections, various exhibitions and a number of his award winning coffee table books. Alan S. Maltz was named the "Official Fine Art Photographer for the State of Florida" by VISIT FLORIDA and The Wildlife Foundation designated him the "The Official Wildlife Photographer of Florida."

Located near the upper end of Duval Street, the Gingerbread Square Gallery is the oldest as well as the most respected Key West art gallery. Open daily, you can peruse through the original paintings, limited edition prints, sculptures and art glass created by local and internationally renown artists. Artists who have been featured in the Gingerbread Square Gallery include such names as Van Eno, Henry Faulkner and John Kiraly.
